James B. Farinholt, Senior Financial Advisor
    Mr. Farinholt has had an extensive career in both the private and public sectors
    of finance and investment.  Since 1992, he has been engaged in business
    development at Virginia Commonwealth University as Special Assistant for
    Economic Development to the President.  During his promotion of
    commercialization of scientific discoveries at the University, he co-founded Allos
    Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTH) a pharmaceutical start-up, which went
    public in March 2000.  In 1994 and 1995, Mr. Farinholt was Interim Director of
Technology Transfer at VCU and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the Intellectual
Properties Foundation of which he was a founding member.  From 1996 through 1998, he was
Executive Director of the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park Authority where he oversaw the
development of the initial 257,000 square feet of office and laboratory facilities.  Prior to joining
VCU, Mr. Farinholt had thirty years of experience in investment banking for small and medium-sized
businesses as an executive officer at The Chase Bank in New York, in Wheat First Union and
Galleher & Company in Richmond, Virginia.  He is a partner at Whetstone Partners, LLC and Tall
Oaks Capital.  Among Mr. Farinholt's directorships are: PharmaNetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PHAR),
BioCache Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately owned bio-tech start-up and Owens & Minor, Inc.
(NYSE: OMI), the nation’s leading distributor of name-brand medical/surgical supplies, with annual
revenues in excess of $4 billion, where he is Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of
the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees.

Peter C. Johnson, MD, Strategic Development Advisor
    Peter Johnson, M.D. was educated at the University of Notre Dame (B.S., 1976,
    cum laude), the SUNY Upstate Medical Center (M.D., 1980).  He completed
    residencies in General Surgery (1980-82; 1985-87) and Plastic Surgery (1987-
    1989) at Case-Western Reserve University and the University of Pittsburgh
    respectively.  He took a postdoctoral fellowship in thrombosis/cell biology at
    Harvard University (1982-1984).  Dr. Johnson served as a reconstructive
    microsurgeon, founded and grew the Facial Nerve Center and was the
    Research Director in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical
Center from 1989-1998.  He founded and was the first President of the Pittsburgh Tissue
Engineering Initiative (1994-1998) and then co-founded TissueInformatics, where he served as
Chairman and CEO from 1999 until its merger with Paradigm Genetics in 2004.  He served as the
Chief Business Officer and Chief Medical Officer of Icoria (formerly Paradigm Genetics) from 2004
to  2005.  He subsequently founded and is now President and CEO of Scintellix, LLC.  Dr. Johnson
is a past President of the Plastic Surgery Research Council, the Pennsylvania Biotechnology
Association, the Tissue Engineering Society International and is presently the Co-Editor-in-Chief of
the Journal, Tissue Engineering.  He serves on the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Mellon
University, the Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative and the Advanced Regenerative Tissue
Engineering Center (ARTEC) in Toronto.
